The Story
Born in Japan, raised on the hustle.
One of 8 children, I was born and raised in Japan and was homeschooled until I was about 12 years old. Then I left home at 15 to Tokyo, where I jumped headfirst into the nightscene and found myself working in strip clubs, bars, and Japanese hostess clubs as a promoter and all-around hustler.
The lifestyle came with a bit of trouble, and in my mid twenties I shifted to a regular job as a teacher. During this time, I discovered fitness and jumped into it headfirst, entering 3 professional physique competitions and coming in at a sad fourth place on my best attempt.
I was then scouted to join a Japanese men's revue dance club, which was the catalyst for me jumping into the world of stripping. I started stripping in clubs and bars — including Russian bars and clubs — because the concept of male strippers was still too new for Japanese audiences. The team and I wanted to bring it to a city where no one had done it yet.
Then came the wedding chapter. I met a pastor, found out how much they made, and immediately applied for the job. Thanks to my upbringing I knew the Bible inside out, so I was hired as a wedding pastor. On weekends I'd perform up to five or six weddings a day — and when the last one was done, I'd take off the priest's robe and dance in my speedos.
By the time I got fired — for giving a lap dance to a bride I'd married earlier that same day — I'd performed close to 250 weddings.
Being a wedding pastor was by far the most interesting, eye-opening job I've ever had.
